Fat Wanda's Thunder Mover
The first ever "brew-off" in which TB participated occurred on March 24, 2007. Born from a fellow brewer's burning desire to share recipes, home brews and camaraderie, the brew-off consisted of four different aspiring hopsters of various ilks (one being an axe murderer who just happened to be walking by, smelled the process, and waltzed in claiming to be a friend of "Bob's"...there were no Bobs present). Thunder squared off against his comrades, doing his best to demonstrate the brewing prowess of TB.
It was decided that a thirst quencher was in order. Due to the fact that TB would be moving one of its operation locales to JP in May (and very sadly closing a chapter in Chez Domenic) Fat Wanda's American Wheat Ale blossomed from a recipe book as the perfect antidote to all fatigued/thirsty friends who will help in the moving process. Thus, for now, the moniker "Fat Wanda's Thunder Mover".
Steeped for 2 hours at 122-150 degrees: lb Wheat; 1/4 lb Crystal 40 L; 1 lb British 2-row
Added 5 cups of Extra light DME
Brought to boil
1.2 oz Cascade for 90"
1.2 oz Saaz for 30"
Pitched 2 packets of generic american ale yeast to ensure all sugar will be eaten...
Currently looks like diarrhea in the carboy.

Check out how our patrons really dig the KPA I - just think what kind of reaction they will have to KPA II!! And this was an unsolicited act of joy and satisfaction.
