Final Brew- Amelia Style

Boomer is busy scribing his doctoral thesis. Conversely, and weirdly, it has very little to do with Thunder Boomer. Perhaps when it is all said and done, Boomer will get really wasted in celebration and we'll brew a victory lap.
Come to think of it, that former occurs without prompting. Hopefully we can secure the latter.

For the time being, Thunder had to brew the final round of beer for the ever-approaching nuptials. A final heffe that will have a slightly different and sweeter appeal in the sizzling Saturday in July.

Things to note: OBAMA has won the nomination of the Democratic Party for the United States. THAT is something I did not think I would be writing. However - and not to toot my own horn - I predicted that if the Red Sox won the world series, then Obama would. Hot damn. The Sox are defending their rightful place at the top in '08. Let's go Barry Hussein.

After Salzburger Kristal Weizen:
1/2 lb Vienna
1/4 lb Munich
steep for 20 minutes extra
.5 oz Hallertau at full hour
3.3 lbs Malt at 30 minutes left
3.3 lbs. Malt at 20 minutes left
.5 oz Hallertau at 15 minutes
.5 oz Hallertau at 5 mintues

Dried WB (wheat) yeast.

oh yeah - brewed and bottled solo in 2:45. Hence the "Amelia" the pilot.
