November 2008. How auspicious that it was the last time we posted. This has nothing do to with the lack of brewing activity (we keep tweaking, not tweeting) rather the lack of time to blog.

Since the most recent posting, Obama continues to lead this nation in a direction unfamiliar to the right wing: a listener. Whether BO follows through is another area. But he is listening.

Regarding brewing, TB just expanded our clientele by 100%. From none to one. We secured the bid to brew a Summer Ale (with Grains of Paradise and lemon zest) in lieu of a 40th b-day gift from one spouse to another. TB will use it as a way of expanding our clientele list further.

Summer Ale:

.5 lb of Wheat malt
1 oz Saaz (full hour)
3 .3 lb liquid Wheat malt (30 min)
3.3 lb light malt (15 min)
.25 oz Liberty (15 min)
lemon zest (15 min)
1.5 grams of cracked grains of paradise (15 min)

We will bottle, label and package with customized picture/print for delivery of product.
