I could not find the stupid thief anywhere to take a sp. gravity reading!!! I think Ponder wondered off with it or, perhaps a more likely scenariou, sailing wing on wing enabled me to stowe it in a super-secret place. Anyway, I decided I needed to pitch rather than wait for the thief to return.
Boomer, my bad. Taking things more serious took a left turn. I am going to repent by saying 25 Thunder Boomers and eating a hop pellet without liquid to wash it down.
I like that, saying "25 Thunder Boomers". Think we could make those cute necklaces like the Catholics have?
No worries on the reading - remember, we're a nonprofit.
My discovery of a case of HaSH II this week has warmed my soul. Nothing could phase me now, NOTHING!
We decided to call this particular brew "SuperBummer". Based on the categorically unchartered territory of a New England professional sports team losing, SuperBummer refers to the XLII Superbowl that the Pats lost 14-7 when Eel-i Simianning bettered Tom Terrific and Belicheck. Also note that the Giants won their final game while the Patriots finished 18-1.
And because it is a brown ale, it doesn't hurt that SuperBummer has the word "bum" in it.
Bottled on 2/3/08.
It was a super bummer. But the beer will rise up.
