Deflated Website, but still Brewing!

So the summer got busy and theRook quit. Too busy with his boy bands to commit to unadultered brewing. musicians...
Thunder and Boomer recently rekindled the "spirits" and brewed a hoppy version of an ale to which we cannot remember the recipe. Mystery session for sure. But we bottled on 10/5/07 before the Red Sox beat the Angels in Game 2 (they would go on to sweep the series in 3 on Sunday). This posting is important because of 2 things:
One, we inaugurated the Thunder Dome with a bottling session and began discussing various tweakings of the new space until Devin (Peeney Prius) got lost on his way down from Maine in the 'hood and Thunder had to leave Boomer bottling the entire thing by himself while Thunder guided Peeney Prius back into JP orbit. Joey P (freshman brewer) was also present but deemed it impotant (rightfully so) that beer was acquired before the start of the game and left to acquire appropriate libations in time.
And two, we added the malt extract 20 minutes before the end of boil to eliminate the malty taste and save the sugars for fermentation. But of course that happened during the brew session, which was sometime around 9/20/07 ish. We are destined to get back on the brewing wagon for sure.
